1. Write Your Principles
What are the principles/rules you live by? Write them down and review at least annually.
Here’s my number 1 principle as an example:
The purpose of life is the pursuit of happiness. Evaluate decisions first by whether saying yes will increase happiness. Help others. Increase happiness. Decrease suffering.

3. Start an Impossible List
This list of impossible things contains all the things I ever thought I couldn’t do because it was “impossible.”
- Joel Runyon
If you’re not pushing your comfort zone you aren’t growing. Start a new note in your favourite notes app. Write down all of the goals you think are impossible or unachievable. Then get started on one of them. Read more and get inspiration here.
4. Organize Your Podcasts
PocketCasts, my recommended podcast app, just added folders. I’ve started sorting my 461 podcasts (not episodes, podcasts) into folders. If you’re not using PocketCasts, give it a try. It is free and has excellent tools for managing your episode queue with automatic add-to-top or add-to-bottom on a per-podcast basis.
5. Read This Book
A revolutionary approach to enhancing productivity, creating flow, and vastly increasing your ability to capture, remember, and benefit from the unprecedented amount of information all around us.
